If I was an Amway agent, I would tell the person why the products are great and why it’s worth buying these products instead of the similar ones sold at the super market. I would basically promote the product to where it sells itself without lying or exaggerating the products used. For instance with the nutritional products, I would research the key ingredients that are in the products. Then show the person what ingredients are in the nutritional products and the benefits of these ingredients to their health. Another thing I would do is to create videos about the many uses the products have or show myself using the products and the great results I get from using the products. Corporations spend millions of dollars using these methods with commercials and infomercials to sell their products to everyone watching TV. Why not used the same method to promote the products and sell them. Just make a DVD or carry a laptop to show it to everyone you meet your presentation. If I completed a sale, I would then promote the recruiting part of the business by letting my new customer know that they can also become part of a great company. How it has helped me financially and also how much work it took me to be where I am at. I am not going to tell the person, that you can make millions if I have not made it myself. I can tell them they can before financially secure if they put a lot of effort and commit themselves to becoming successful in their new business.
